Od roku 2020 sa Maccaferri vydalo na cestu prijímania IoT technológií.
Túto cestu sme začali vývojom prvého HELLOMAC-u, priekopníckeho projektu navrhnutého na zlepšenie našich systémov ochrany pred skalnými zosuvmi tým, že ich spravíme inteligentnými.
Od začiatku sme pevne verili v tento projekt a teraz sme pripravení urobiť viac.
Všetky naše riešenia sú navrhnuté tak, aby zvyšovali bezpečnosť a efektivitu v stavebnom inžinierstve.
Integráciou inteligentných systémov včasného varovania môžeme tieto riešenia posunúť na novú úroveň inteligencie a účinnosti, čím prispievame k posilneniu komunít a ich blahobytu.

The Rochaille passage, on the RD 900, which connects France and Italy through the Ubaye Valley in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, is one of the most sensitive roadways in terms of security. It is a major route linking France and Italy via the Col de Larche. The danger of rockfalls that can block the road is well-documented and has already caused the complete isolation of certain towns a few years ago, as well as the closure of this access to Italy. Beyond the safety of people and property, this situation has a significant economic impact on access to ski resorts, the organization of major media events, and the flow of trucks to Italy. Securing this road became essential.

The reason for addressing the situation was the collapse of a rock block onto the I/18 road. The rock block fell next to the existing dynamic barrier, damaging the guardrail and the road surface, leaving a crater with a depth of 20 cm and a diameter of approximately 2 – 3 meters. An emergency situation was subsequently declared because there was a risk of unstable blocks falling from unsecured sections over a length of 1,000 meters in the section from km 471. 400 to 472. 400.
