BHAVNAGAR PAVEMENT STABILIZATION
India
Bhavnagar is a city in the state of Gujarat situated 198 km away from the state capital Gandhinagar. This proposed Creek Kalatalav Sanesh road is the approach road to Bhavnagar District and for the nearby Salt Industries as well. The proposed road is formed between the creeks, where the ground water table is high and flood level is also high during the monsoons. Also, sub grade strength was found to be of CBR less than 2 percent with poor soil properties. The road used to demand high maintenance and repairs cost.

COMPOSTELA STEEL ROLLING MILL
Philippines
Due to the increasing demand of construction materials in the Philippines, SteelAsia, the country's leading provider of world-class steel products, has expanded its production facility through its subsidiary - Compostela Steel Inc. The new rolling mill facility, with an estimated land area of about 19 hectares, is located in Compostela, Cebu. Based on survey plans, the overall topography of the facility has been found to be lower than the existing immediate access roads which made the area a natural catchment basin for rainwater. In this, the facility's final grade elevation has been raised to address the ingress of surface runoff that also includes a proper drainage system. A wall system was required to be constructed along the perimeter of the facility for the planned change of grade.

DIGOS-MAKAR ROAD
Philippines
The Department of Public Works and Highways implemented various infrastructure projects since the start of the new administration in 2016. The projects formed part of the administration's program called, "Build, Build, Build". In this, bridge construction and road widening works have been prioritized. In Mindanao, the DPWH Davao del Sur District Engineering Office allocated portion of its infrastructure budget to one of its most challenging projects to date - the rehabilitation and reconstruction of roads with slips and landslides along the Digos-Makar Road, a two-lane national highway in the mountainous portions of the city and is part of the Asian Highway, a network of highway routes of international importance within Asia and covers a total of 3,517 kilometers of roads in the Philippines. In order to achieve the rehabilitation and to upgrade the existing road to a four-lane highway as a minimum requirement for all Asian Highway-classified roads, the only viable solution at the moment was to build a retaining structure in the cliff side of the Digos-Makar road.
