Challenge

En el aeropuerto de Ilopango, cerca a la pista de aterrizaje, se dio la formación de una cárcava. La cual presentaba una desestabilización a los terrenos adyacentes y un peligro inminente para la pista de aterrizaje. Debido a la cercanía del talud con la pista de aterrizaje se debía llegar una solución en el menor tiempo posible y con la mayor efectividad

Solution

Para la estabilización del talud se utilizó Terramesh® System, malla recubierta con PVC de 2.7mm. Se colocaron geogrilla MacGrid® hacia adentro del talud, ademas se utilizo geotextil MacTex® como filtro entre el Terramesh® System y el terreno.
